Figure 7. NINJ2 knockout inhibits primary human colon cancer cell growth in vivo. The stable primary human colon cancer cells (“pri-Can-1”) with lenti-CRISPR/Cas9-NINJ2 KO construct (“KO-NINJ2”, with “sgRNA-2”), or the parental control cells (“Ctrl”), were s.c. inoculated into the flanks of the SCID mice (6 × 10⁶ cells per mouse). When each tumor was close 100 mm³ in volume, the recording was started (labeled as “Day-0”). Tumor volumes (A) and mice body weights (B) were recorded every 6 days for a total of 36 days; At recording “Day-6” and “Day-12”, one tumor of each group was separated, tumors were subjected to Western blotting assay of listed proteins (C).
