Figure 4. Heat shock was an efficient way to generate apoptotic U251 cells. (A) U251 cell morphology by heat induction 37° C, 43° C, 44° C for 1h, 2h, 3h respectively. With the prolongation of heat induction, the cells began to shrink, the cell density decreased, and the spacing between cells became significantly larger. (B) Apoptosis rate was calculated by Hoechst 33258 staining, which showed U251 cells had the highest apoptosis rate at 43° C 3h.
